Product Overview
Limestone chips are produced by crushing selected natural limestone lumps and screening them across multi-deck vibrating sieves to remove both oversized rocks and fine sub-sieve dust.
In animal feed, coarse limestone grit is consumed by layer birds to aid mechanical digestion in the gizzard while slowly dissolving in the digestive tract to provide a steady release of ionic calcium during nocturnal eggshell synthesis. In civil construction, it provides sound mechanical interlocking in terrazzo and road asphalt.
